I have some great friends, and I'm always thankful for the opportunity to get together over lunch (and shopping). We all just get so busy sometimes, so it's really nice to set aside the time to catch up over great food (and shop).
I don't have a lot of friends, but I love the few I have. My (shopping) friends know me so well, and I'm always glad to have them with me for their invaluable opinions.
Do you shop with friends? Do you prefer shopping alone?

I really like the blouse with those shorts! You look chic and comfy at the same time. I generally prefer to shop alone because I like to take my time browsing, but my favorite person to shop with is my mother in law -she has great taste and likes to just take her time as well!

    Hooray for shopping friends! :D

I love that outfit! The blouse is one of my favorite things (as you know).

  3. I like the pairing of the dressier blouse with the casual shorts and thong sandals. Clever mixing!

I have several friends that I shop with, but all do it differently. I go by myself when I am hitting a lot of stores and have a lot of returns...which is pretty much all the time. :)

  4. I prefer to shop solo, when I shop with friends I start trying to please them instead of myself with my purchases. And we have different tastes so I end up with lots of returns.

I really like this top with the shorts, the colors contrast nicely. I have a couple of longer length tops I have steered away from trying with my shorts, because of the longer length backs. But after seeing your's here, and how lovely it looks, I'm going to try them paired together now. Thanks for the idea!

Going off topic, one thing I really like about your WIW outfits, is seeing how cohesive your wardrobe is and how you remix items. If I didn't have previous outfits to compare too, I would never realize some of these items are the same, worn in different ways. It's inspiring.

    LOVE that bag!

Lisa makes a great point -- I, too, love seeing how you wear pieces differently and make new outfits combos out of tried-and-true pieces.

I like shopping solo or with my daughter or husband. My girl is 5 and {usually} ridiculously fun and could shop for hours. My husband is great encouragement for trying new things or honest feedback.

  6. Thank you for the feedback! Ana, this is one of my favorites too. I had my NAS presale yesterday and maybe I was just tired, but nothing is pulling at my heart strings like these things I got last year.
And I appreciate you all letting me know how helpful the archive links are! That feature will stick around. :)
